A sweet request from a wife to husband for his birthday - "Can you carve a block to match our Giant Squid from the Underwater Alphabet?!" My response? Well of course! I love doing custom projects to brighten someone's big day. I'm a HUGE birthday person myself so I love a good birthday secret!
This is a look at the carving, but there was a lot of background planning from sketch ideas, to color options and final printed options before settling on the best plan for the Octopuses Garden.
