I am an art teacher by day, so I spend every moment thinking about how to be creative for my students so they can in turn, create themselves. This is my day job - pretty epic. As an artist, I am always noticing what is around me, pushing to see the beauty in the everyday whether it's the ice forming on the pond by the side of the road as I drive to work, or the pattern of the grass and how it changes with the wind. I bring my own childlike wonder into my artwork, drawing from my childhood spent exploring the woods and rivers of Vermont and my adulthood raising a child with my husband, enjoying adventures, traveling, or summers spent by the ocean. I love all things colorful and am not afraid of a little sparkle either.

My art is meant to spark joy, and by that I mean for everyone, big and small! We can all benefit from that childhood sense of wonder, adventure and joy that drives us to explore, grow and learn, and I hope that my artwork can bring a bit of that into your world, daily.

And let’s not forget, kiddos deserve to have awesome artwork in their rooms too!
